Since Keith has been out of town at a conference, Nana came up for a couple days to help out. This allowed me to go to work on Friday and, frankly, provided enough of a break to maintain my sanity! The visit was a tremendous success and Sam had a wonderful time. I gather there were big doings while I was gone, but what has impressed itself most in Sam's young mind is the fact that Guinny gets to poop and pee in the grass. I'm just hoping he doesn't try to imitate this noteworthy habit...
Sam was also quite disappointed that Pop-Pop was not here with Nana, and tried out one of his first four word sentences to try and bridge that gap: "Nana, call Pop-Pop please." Cool!
In closing, many thanks to our wonderfully patient Nana (Sam, with his torrent of verbiage can be a bit exhausting at times!), who was a huge help and great fun to be with.

"Gwa" and I miss you already. There's no one here to make me dinners of plastic broccoli with plastic challah and imaginary maple syrup, and to say "Play, Nana, play!" Sam, you are a real treat.
