Hooray! Sam is *almost* one! To celebrate, we threw him a little birthday party this afternoon. Between wonderful friends and awesome neighbors, we had a very full and very cheery house. Sam really liked the attention although, as the video below shows, he was a little stunned when all of these friendly people gathered around and started singing. What the video does not show is how he devoured the cupcake (mom snuck away much of it when it was clear that he would eat the entire thing if left to his own devices).
