"Rubber Ducky, Where Were You...

when I needed you most?" In honor of Sam's two-week birthday, we decided to take the plunge and give him a warm contemplative sponge bath. His first response was high-pitched wail--not exactly the spa-treatment he'd hoped for. Soon, though, he relaxed into it. And by the time we lay cucumbers on his eyes, applied the soothing avocado face mask, and ordered him up a sparkling water with a twist of lime, our boy was in paradise.

Ahh...it all comes back to me now. My famous tubby song...

Washy, washy, washy
Washy, washy, washy
Jingle jangle jingle
Pinky panky punk!

You all look so, so happy.

For sure K & A make bathtime lots of fun. PS: Greer, your secret is safe with us. Welcome to world of baby love and ticking clocks.

Heehee I love it! He looks far happier here than his first foray on the bathroom floor. Maybe if you get him a white terry-cloth robe and a facialist he'd get more into the experience.

Believe it or not, Sam does have a terry cloth robe, Winnie the Pooh-style, with funky ears and paws. And for the record, the sad thing of it was, Sam's folks had the pick of a handful of Rubber Duckies that could've come to his aide. Neglectful neglectful.
