Pictures can't capture these three recent milestones:
- Sam's belly button came into its own, i.e. the last of the cord fell off this morning
- The large scab on Sam's head, a product of his challenging delivery, also made its exit (what amazing healing powers for a tiny tyke!)
- Those inquisitive eyes (see previous post) have realized their ability to track moving objects of interest.

He's already tracking at 12 days?! What a genious! Wow! Attago Sammie boy.
Um..."tracking"?? I'm still waiting to hear what "receiving blanket" means. Dude, this harder than learning Wolof.
But I must say, those are exciting accomplishments for the little man! He's moving right along. It is true the ability to heal is rather amazing. PS: he's got such personality in his face!

Oh I miss you guys so much, but I love coming home to the BLOG! I saw Jamie today, and he can't wait to play with Sam! They will have so, so much fun together. Jamie loved the present that Sam sent to him.
