Singing in Portland

So many nice things happened when we went to Portland a week ago, but none were captured as well on film as Sam's continuing induction into the Feldman world of music.
Stage one: duet

Stage two: solo act

Add in Sam's first experience with musical theater, and you get one performance-filled weekend! The musical adaptation of a well-loved contemporary children's book, "Click, Clack, Moo," was as fun for the grown-ups as it was for Sam. After he got over the trauma of the stroller check, that is-- who could have predicted that handing the stroller to the nice man in the coat room would lead to hysteria? Once that died down, Sam sat on Keith's lap and took in the whole 60+ minute production and has been talking about it ever since. What a treat!

Many thanks to Nana and Pop-Pop. Now...if only you were here to take a turn reenacting the show for the 107th time! ;)

Bravi! Wonderful to see the love of music and hamming it up continuing...hard to say who was having more fun! Remember the video of Keith in the Bannockburn Spring Show? Hmmm....I bet Sam would love to see that! Love to all!

And we can't forget Sam's reaction to the ticket taker: "That man makes me nervous!" The weekend was mooo-tiful!

Oh I totally see the next Elton John in the making (or maybe you'd prefer Billy Joel? I could see that the I'm Still Standing video might not be a mama's dream)! I'm assuming he is not reenacting the stroller taking incident? xoxo
