Is Summer Here Yet?

While many of our faithful blog watchers toil away under the scorching summer sun back East, we're wading through puddles in our raincoats in this 55-degree, drizzly weather that is clearly NOT what one expects in early June. Because Gaka (now "Gaggy") is working hard on his dissertation, Mama has had to get a little creative with indoor weekend fun. Here are three things that I've learned:

1) Homemade play-doh is fun, but way, way stickier and gooier than store-bought Doh. Our rug will never be the same. (Mimi-- check our new use for the "Eggy" collection!)

2) Helping Sam wedge himself into a box is very entertaining for both of us, and the fun can last almost 15 minutes while he tries to get out.

3) (see photo above) Sam's hair reacts to humidity with hilarious effect.

So cute! I don't know how this is possible or if it makes sense, but sitting in that box he looks so...grown up!
