But one thing he is NOT skeptical about is the importance of good friends. We were lucky enough to have a weekend visit from Gaka's college pal who we now refer to as "Ahhh-en" (she claims it's "Erin" but Sam is just positive that he's right).
Sam also got to catch up recently with mama-to-be, Libby, and was quite pleased by how easy it was to identify her tummy. He also enjoyed running a firetruck across her face, which is a very important milestone in any friendship.
Finally, Sam and his good buddy Sawyer are starting to actually play together, which is lots of fun to watch. Okay, so the line between playing and toy-snatching is a fine one at this stage, but the intent to connect really seems to be there now.
We miss all of the friends and family we haven't seen recently but feel so grateful that you are all out there!

I'm so honored to make it onto the blog! I had the BEST time with you guys these last few days. And although this blog is fantastic, Sam in real life is even more awesome than Sam in virtual space. Miss you guys already!
With a hat and shoes, Sam looks like he could be two. Where has babyhood gone?? Next thing you know he'll be in kindergarten. Yikes!
