Reach, crawl, flop and ba, ba, ba!

Here is one short video which pretty much sums up what we're doing at the Feldman house these days: trying to crawl and talking up a storm. Sam is *so* close to real, live crawling but, in the meantime, he is moving in his own special way. It centers around reaching, flopping and then getting back up, but at least some forward movement is achieved! But even though he's become more and more persistent with his attempts at crawling, sometimes he just prefers to talk his way out of the situation (he does come from a family of lawyers!).

Oh, and his nine-month check-up went very well. He's still a little rounder than he is tall, still interested in observing the world around him, still not the best sleeper in the world, still a prolific eater and a great communicator, still passionate (read: easily frustrated), and still a smiley, cuddly, social little guy-- that's our Sam!

That's what I say...Ba, Ba, Ba...Ha! He is so, so close to crawling...then watch out! And look at all that hair! ...and that sunny, sunny dear face. I can't wait to hug him and you all, in real life!

I love the frustrated arm flappage! He's a millimeter away - everything but....any second now he'll crawl. Look at how strong his legs are! I saw 'downward facing dog' for a second there. MUCH harder than crawling! Do you think he was trying to say "block"? Maybe! Kiss him for us!
