Fiesta, Feldman-style

We just got back from a family reunion of sorts in Portland and have a short video and a photo link to share with those who are interested. (There are also a few pictures from Seattle thrown in the mix. The last two help explain how Sam really learned to crawl, and before that show how handy his Nana is with knitting needles!)

In Portland, Sam loved all the attention and people to visit with. On the update front, for those not in attendance, his crawling is really taking off and he is enjoying (ad nauseum!) captaining around whomever he has determined to be the most suitable ship of the moment. And when we say "captaining around" we primarily mean leading, by pointing and insistent "heh!"-ing, his hapless victim from light switch to light switch. A little tiring, to be sure, but he is clearly so excited by the world around him. He's also still talking up a storm, and the video clip below is a nice example of what might be one of his first words. (It is pretty obvious who is holding the camera!)

Sam looks adorable in the yellow vest his dad used to wear. I love it! Any I'm ready for light-switch duty anytime. Heh!

Oh, mamamia! HA!! Yes, that's awesome! MAMA!!! I can't tell which is better, hearing Sam speak or hearing Amy shriek.
