While we've noticed some changes in Sam's shape over the last few months, we weren't 100% sure Sam had grown until we compared him to a standard-size challah. The results are in: Sam's bigger now than he once was! And, bonus: he's big enough to EAT the challah afterwards!
The challah comes from Portland, as did Sam's grandparents this past weekend. A highlight we've yet to capture on film was Sam's routine impersonation of a disgruntled barn-owl. Either that, or his best Ozzy Osbourne impression. He's moving quickly through his verbal experiments, so wish us luck on preserving this "precious" stage for the blog.

I tell you, the challah really brings out the red highlights in Sam's hair...He should carry one around when he's ready to woo the ladies.
Sam *is* big. It's the challah that got small.
He looks wonderful, and we can't wait to hang with him again this winter... oh, you know, and his parents too :-).
