Sometimes it still surprises us that we've become a family of four. The oldest among us have found ourselves looking at each other and asking, "We have another son? And we named him Milo?" It sure has been a whirlwind and, to be frank, not a particularly easy transition, but it is incredible how quickly one can fall in love. And although we're learning what colic is and pushing the limits of exhaustion, Milo has an underlying sweetness about him that leaves us excited to get to know him better through the days, weeks, months and years ahead. When he is comfortable and awake, Milo is very smiley and interested in the world around him. He is clearly taking it all in (and then having trouble turning it off!) and really enjoys being played with. So far, we've discovered that he loves to be massaged, is starting to giggle at simple repetitive games, really wants to practice standing, hates his pacifier until he absolutely loves it and kicks like a maniac in the bath. So here we are, a family of four, getting to know our newest member and hoping to help him enjoy the ride as much as possible. We love you Milo!

Precious pictures, and text you'll definitely want to save in his scrap book. Love, Grampa.
No doubt you are exhausted. So here's a double thank you for capturing these moments. Eager to see you soon.
Beautifully articulated. And that last picture of the brothers is precious!
Just think how wonderful it will be when the colic disappears and everyone is getting a decent amount of sleep! Oh the smiles that will ensue! Hold on...it will happen...believe! Beautiful boys...Milo is looking more and more like Sam...the last photo is priceless!
