Our delightful month back east was full and fabulous, leaving us with far more memories than good photos. Here is a link to some of the pictures we did manage to take: click here. As you can tell, we are very lucky folks to have such wonderful family and friends in our lives.
Sam had his share of ups and downs on the trip to be sure, but grew a great deal and clearly got a lot out of all the love he received. In addition to lots of visiting with loved ones, we were especially excited (and more than a bit surprised) to see him totally digging the water and thoroughly enjoying his first experience with summer camp as a Wee Woozle at Silver Bay. He also got to see both the Museum of Natural History and Air and Space--further solidifying his role as avid fact-monster--and got to tour a small town fire station as an emergency call came in. Sharing a room and lots of time with Cousin Jamie was also wonderful-- much fun along with lots of practice, often a bit difficult, in the fine art of sharing time and resources. We're assuming this will be coming in handy pretty soon!
Needless to say, Sam's parents got some welcome rest and relaxation along the way. Thanks to our many gracious hosts!

We miss you all! It was grand...looking over these photos...boy, have you had a busy, family and friend filled summer! You certainly are loved by all of us. Always,
Thank you for welcoming Jamie on your Silver Bay adventures. He felt so well cared-for, and had such a great time - especially with cousin Sam!!!
