Since we appealed for your help a little while back, it seems appropriate to give an update along with this cute picture. After a very trying two weeks of sleep "coaching," Sam has graced us with two consecutive nights with six hour stretches of uninterrupted sleep. (He even slept through the fireworks last night while we watched from friend's apartment). This might not sound like much to our readers, but rest assured (pun intended) that this is very significant in our drowsy household. Keep your fingers crossed, faithful blog-watchers, and let's hope this is the start of something good.

ZZZZZounds zzzzimply marvelouzzzzzz. Must be the cream of wheat ;-)
No, methinks it was the old Cuban remedy that did it. ;-)
Congrats, Mom & Dad! That's a great improvement. One of these days you'll be bugging him to get out of bed and play.
Great news!! Nana thinks it's the cream of wheat; I vote for the bananas. And Emily -- just what if "the old Cuban remedy"?
Don't worry, it does not involve cigars or rum. It's a "magic chant" that my grandfather used to use on us as a kid to make us sleepy. It involves repeated chant/sing of "you're so sleepy" and undulating hand gestures.
