Sam had the immense honor of being the special guest at his cousin Jamie's fourth birthday. Aunt Nicole, Uncle Ben, and Jamie flew in from back east and we've been having just a lovely go of it. Jamie is undoubtedly the most compassionate, sweetest, most sympathetic four year old known to humankind, and he's a barrel of fun, too.

Wow-whee ka-zow-whee! I can see that Jamie is one amazing cousin. And I can imagine these two guys building sand castles together or flying kites. OK, not necessarily on the Oregon coast, but I wouldn't say no!
Such a wonderful way to spend a 4th birthday! Many wonderful memories and the beginning of a very special friendship! They are two very lucky little boys! Hugs to all, and thanks again for the updates!

And PS, when did Sam get so big?? What a well-fed cuddlekins of a baby boy! I can't wait to meet him in person in just a couple weeks! I'm so excited that I'm just going to keep using exclamation points!!!
